How to build your own living structures

Design professor Ken Isaacs developed a modular, flexible, sustainable and self-sufficient approach to creating living spaces in the 1950s and 1960s he dubbed the Matrix. In 1974, he published a manifesto/manual, How to Build Your Own Living Structures, documenting the multi-functional grid structures and the Microhouses he and his students built.
