After the untimely death of Anne de Bourgh, Mr. Darcy finds himself free to court for love and not obligation. All at once, a world of opportunity is open to him, and there is hardly a woman in England who does not wish to be the mistress of Pemberley. While Darcy is enjoying his days of freedom, his newly-married friend, Charles Bingley, is encouraging him to marry as well. He may not be in any rush, but Bingley will not rest until Darcy knows the joys of married life.
