Two Scoops of Spring

Cheryl Fisher has a dream. Ever since she had her first ice cream cone, she's dreamed of opening her own ice cream stand. After over a decade of hard work, she finally has the premises, the tools, and her own special recipes to launch her homemade dairy bar. The return of spring means the return of flowers and warm weather, and Cheryl's opening week promises to be the biggest week of her life.

However, things can never be simple. All of Cheryl's passion and razor focus on her goal comes to a crashing halt when a newcomer named Cait moves to Cheryl's small town; a laid back gardener with great hair and a charming laugh. She's everything Cheryl looks for in a woman, and the last thing Cheryl needs right now. Being smitten is a great way to ruin one's concentration, and Cait needs every ounce of focus she has to keep her opening week running smoothly.

Yet Cait keeps cropping up in Cheryl's life, both at the dairy bar and in Cheryl's thoughts. As their friendly rapport develops into passionate discussions of lilies and ice cream scoops, Cheryl falls more and more head over heels for Cait. And the worse her crush gets, the harder she fights to keep her focus on her dairy bar. Will Cheryl be able to ignore her heart and focus on the culmination of her dream? Or will she give in and let herself be swayed by Cait's charms?
